Charles Nolph
Charles E. Nolph, 91, of Gladwin, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin. He was born March 23, 1914 in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania to Edward and Esther (Snyder) Nolph. He married the former Della Burnette on June 29, 1946 in Harrison on the farm. She survives him. They lived for 37 years on Little Long Lake near Harrison. Charles was a retired oil field worker and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially his garden.
Surviving besides his wife, Della, are two children, William Nolph of Gladwin and Nancy (Clayton) Hanson of Mt. Pleasant; six granddaughters, Sharice, Shannon, Angela, Sue, Tracie and Carri; and four Great grandchildren, Elisha, Tyler, Brooke and Jonah. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter-in-law, Sherry Nolph, and four brothers.
At Mr. Nolph’s request cremation has taken place. The Sisson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
