Dewey Nestell
Dewey C. Nestell, 63, of 4626 Church Rd., Rhodes, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, at
his home following a short illness. Born in Rhodes May 3, 1921, he had spent his lifetime in
Gladwin County. He served in the Army during World War II and was employed in construction.
Surviving are 4 sisters, Mrs. Jean Gary of Gladwin, Mrs. Aioleen Worth of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs.
Bessie Letson, Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Louella Allard of Chesaning; and 3 brothers, Lewis of
Hendersonville, N.C., Bill of Mountain Home, N.C. and Glen of Jellico, Tenn. Rites were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. Pastor Don Siewert
officiated and burial was in the Rhodes Cemetery.
