David Nelson
David H. Nelson, 68, of Gladwin passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007 at his home.
David was born Aug. 24, 1939 in Pontiac to Arnold and Edith (Bedford) Nelson. He married the former Ruth Davis on July 7, 1962 in Auburn Heights. They lived in Arizona for 20 years, moving to Gladwin in 2004. David worked for Pontiac Motors and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He attended the Gladwin Free Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth; one brother, Dennis Cline of Oregon; two sisters, Angie Barnes of Gladwin and Lona Vance of McBain; and a special nephew, Steven Barnes.
David was preceded in death by one brother.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 10, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Gladwin Free Methodist Church with Rev. Phil Hortop officiating. Arrangements were handled by Sisson Funeral Home.
