Thomas Napper
Thomas D. Napper, 79, of Gladwin, Michigan, died March 7, 2006 at home following a long illness. He was born in Detroit April 7, 1926. He was a sheet metal worker and served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. He lived in Gladwin County for 36 years, having previously resided in Warren.
Thomas is survived by his children, Launa Kinkela of Gladwin, Dean Thomas (Sheri) Napper of Detroit, Judith (Geno) Hovey of Oscoda, Wilda (Michael) Bushong of Harrison, and Deanna (Mark) Campbell of Gladwin; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; his brother, Donald (Audrey) Napper of St. Clair Shores; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Shirley M. (Harding) Napper; and 10 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service was held Saturday, March 11 at Ashley-Scott Funeral Home in Hazel Park, with pastor Samuel Grayl officiating. Burial was in Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Clinton Township.
