William E. Murphy

BEAVERTON TWP. RESIDENT DIES


  William E. Murphy, 75, of Beaverton Township, died at the Veterans Hospital in Saginaw Saturday, Nov. 7, following a three-months illness. Born in Chicago, April 19, 1895, Mr. Murphy had been a representative for an oil company until his retirement. He had been a resident of Beaverton Township for the past 15 years, having lived in Detroit previously. A World War I veteran, he had never married and left no relatives.

  Graveside services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 2:00 p.m. at the Beaverton Cemetery where burial was made. The Rev. Fr. Edward Trombley officiated. .
