Geneva R. Munger
Geneva R. (Shell) Munger, 79, of Flint, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001 at Genesys Health Park.
Born May 2, 1921 in Gladwin, she was the daughter of Byron and Adeline (Coffell) Shell and was a graduate of Gladwin High School.
Geneva married Edwin C. Munger, Feb. 28, 1970 in Midland.
Besides her husband she is survived by three children, Donald and wife, Dixie Ridley, Darla Ridley, and Jeanie and husband Bennie Hassen, all of Midland; two grandsons, Donald Ridley Jr. of North Carolina and Darin Ridley of Midland; one great-granddaughter, Bailey Jean Ridley; and one nephew, Tony Shell of Mecosta. She was preceded in death by one sister, Florence Kirkpatrick; and one brother, Gordon “Skipper” Shell.
A memorial service was held Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, in Swartz Creek with Evangelist Pat Boulton officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
