George Morrison
George R. Morrison, 76, of Gladwin died Jan. 22, 2007 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Midland. He was born Jan. 5, 1931, to James and Ida (Larson) Morrison in Northville. He was an automotive machinist and worked for Northville multi-feed. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean Conflict. He moved to Gladwin in 1993 from Northville.
He was a member of Northville American Legion #0147, a life member of the NRA, and a member of Pioneer Power Tractor Club in West Branch. He married Barbara Gagnon in Washtenaw County.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Morrison of Gladwin; a daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Bob Findling of Gladwin; two grandchildren, Traci (Mark) Lambert of Mt. Pleasant, and Robert Findling of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Barbara Lash of Novi; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. at the Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin with Rev. Matthew Schultz presiding, and burial following in Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or the National Kidney Foundation.
