Frank Misiak
Frank “Butch” Misiak, 72, of Gladwin, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2005 at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
He was born in Detroit on March 9, 1933 to the late John and Rose (Burman) Misiak. He married the former Elizabeth West in Detroit on April 29, 1951; she survives him. Frank was a retired auto body repairman. They moved to Gladwin in 1983 and he was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving besides his wife Elizabeth are one son, Frank (Deborah) Misiak, Jr. of Warren; four daughters, Johnnie (Michael) O’Connell of Warren, Phyllis (Jerry) Hamilton of Sterling Heights, Sharon (Roger) Bishop and Ralene DeVille, both of Warren; three brothers, Gerald (Barbara) Misiak of Traverse City, Ronald (Joann) Misiak and Dennis Misiak, both of Mancelona; and 14 grandchildren and four Great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter, Gail Duerksen, two sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at the Sisson Funeral Home with a vigil prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Jeff Donner presiding.
