James A. Miles
JAMES A. MILES
The body of James A. Miles was brought to Gladwin
Tuesday afternoon, August 31, from Millersburg, and
the burial services were conducted at dusk by Rev.
Stanley Thayer at Highland cemetery.
Mr. Miles was 82 years old April 12, and resided
some 25 years ago five miles south of Gladwin. Since
leaving Gladwin he has lived in many places and at the
time of his death was living at Millersburg. He was a
civil war veteran and up to the time of his death he
was a member of the Gladwin G.A.R. post.
The body was accompanied by a son and two
daughters, the son's wife and the daughters's
husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miles, Mr. and Mrs.
Harvey Jones, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Lytle, a niece, Mrs.
Lewis Remley and her daughter Mabel, all of
Millersburg.
