Robert Mielke
ROBERT MIELKE DIES AT MOTHER'S HOME
Robert Mielke, 66, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Annie Mielke, in Gladwin, on Tuesday,
December 11, after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held on Friday from the
Reigle Funeral Home with burial in Highland cemetery. Rev. John Scott, of the Gladwin Methodist
church officiated. Mr. Mielke was born in Russia, on July 17, 1879, and made his home in Bloomington,
Illinois until 28 years ago, when he came to Gladwin, where he worked at the carpenter trade. He was
married to Teresa Yeager, in 1904, in Bloomington, Illinois.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Annie Mielke, of Gladwin; his wife, Teresa, of Chicago; three sons,
William, Robert and Walter; three daughters, Annie, Olga and Teresa, all of Chicago; two brothers,
William of Florida and Frank, of Glenton, Illinois.
