Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Timothy Meehan

   Timothy F. Meehan, 54, of Beaverton, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005 at the MidMichigan Medical Center. He was born Nov. 25, 1950 in Detroit. He graduated from Bishop Gallagher Catholic High School in Harper Woods and attended Macomb County Community College. On Sept. 20, 1975 he married Ilene Card at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Midland.

   He had worked for J.C. Penney, Chemical Bank, Collinson Construction, and for the past 27 years for Operating Engineers and was a member of Local 324. Tim will be missed by his wife, Ilene; his children, Sara (Michael) Sheets of Beaverton, Holly Meehan of Beaverton, and Tyler Meehan of Ft. Myer, Virginia; his mother, Helen Therese (LePage) Meehan; brothers and sisters, Maureen (Dave) Polash, Dennis (Ann) Meehan, Michael (Darlene) Meehan, Patrick Meehan, Brian (JoAnne) Meehan, and Kathleen (Glen) Blackwood; grandchildren, Mikayla Sheets, Tayler Sheets, and Austin Sheets. He was predeceased by his father, Francis Andrew Meehan.

   Services were held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 9 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street, Midland. Deacon Michael Jankowiak of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiated with burial in Dale Cemetery. Tim’s family received friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

   Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Midland.
