Walter A. McKimmy
WALTER A. McKIMMY
Walter A., son of Jasper and Caroline McKimmy, died March 19, 1924, at his home in Beaverton, aged 36 years, 4 months and 17 days. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Clarence, Raymond and Willard, and one sister, Alta. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
An accident which took place Aug. 29, 1922, caused his death; He was cared for at St. Mary's hospital Saginaw, for some time, and he was then brought back to his home in Beaverton where he remained until his death.
He served in the World War I going overseas with the A.E.F. and was a member of Beaverton lodge I.O.O.F. and came to the church of Brethren in 1923.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. G.H. Killian at L.D.S. church, Beaverton, and at the cemetery by the I.O.O.F. and American Legion.
