Ethel McKimmy-McMahon
Ethel Mae McMahon, 90, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the home of her son Loren McKimmy in Beaverton, Ore. Born in Lima, Ohio, on Nov. 12, 1889, she lived in Gladwin County from 1907 to the 1970's. The former Ethel Rise, she was married to Ora McKimmy on March 20, 1915 and he preceded her in death. She then married Louis McMahon on April 18 1938 and he died January 23 1960.
Besides her son, she is survived by 7 step children. Ethel Kigar of Gladwin, Marjorie Riegler of Bay City, Clarence McMahon and Roger McMahon of Beaverton, Grace Hawley of Drayton Plains, Dale McMahon of Houghton Lake and Don McMahon of Sarnia, Ont., and one brother, Fred Rise of Oakland, Calif. Memorial services were held Friday in Beaverton, Ore.
