Grace McKimmy
Grace McKimmy, 63, of Parkway Ct. Gladwin. drowned Friday, June 29, 1990, in the pond on Parkway Ct. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Oct. 25, 1926. She moved to Gladwin County in 1985 from Detroit. The former Grace Marcella she was married to Robert McKimmy, July 11, 1972. He preceded her in death Aug. 28, 1989.
Surviving are one son. Rick Bashlor of Inkster; 2 stepsons, John McKimmy of Midland and Stephan McKimmy of Detroit, one brother, Victor of New York 4 sisters, Sarah Sortiso, Lee Marcella, Florence Marcella and Jennie Gentile of New York. 3 grandchildren and 10 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son David in 1983.
Rites were held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Sisson Mathews Funeral Home. Deacon Stanley Bemamger officiated and burial was in the Ridge Cemetery.
