Elmer McKimmy
Buried Saturday
Funeral services for Elmer McKimmy, 66 were held on Saturday at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Ernest Jehnsen officiating. Burial was in the Dale cemetery.
Mr. McKimmy was born in Fulton county, Ohio, on July 27, 1882. He worked at the carpenter trade and had been a resident of Beaverton for the past 40 years. He passed away on Tuesday, January 25, in Beaverton.
Surviving are two sons and three daughters; five brothers, Ottamar and James of Beaverton, Edson of Lenawee county, Leo of Detroit and Charles of Ludington; two sisters, Mrs. Bird Yager of Beaverton and Elva of California.
Because of unusual circumstances relating to his death an autopsy was performed. The pathologist's report revealed that Mr. McKimmy died from natural causes.
