LAVERN MCDANIELS VICTIM OF SPANISH INFLUENZA


  The body of Lavern McDaniels arrvied in Coleman Thursday, Oct. 3, and was taken to the home of his mother, in Tobacco township. He died Oct. 1 at a training camp at Boulder, Colo., of pneumonia, which followed an attack of Spanish influenza. He was about 21 years old and had been in the marine service four years. Services were held at the Presbyterian church at Beaverton Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Lawrence.br>
