Julie McDaniel
Julie McDaniel, 48, of Gladwin, passed away Dec. 8, 2005 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on July 24, 1957 in Warren to Leon and Pat Hansen of Gladwin. She had many different jobs from opening most of the Big Wheel stores from Indiana to Michigan to transporting prisoners. This let her travel through most of the United States. She also distributed jewelry to many department stores in Michigan. She was past president of the Grass Lake Ladies Group, a member of the Grass Lake Association, a charter member and Past Senior Region for Women of the Moose in Gladwin 2265, and had been a member of the Harrison Eagles Ladies Auxiliary Aerie 3541 for 26 years.
Surviving is her companion, Bruce Vorce; her son, Denny McDaniel and companion Rosebud Peters and children Guy and Scott Peters of Clare; a sister, Deborah Dismore of Gladwin; a brother, Lee (Peggy) Hansen; two nieces, Katie and April Hansen; and a nephew, Brian Hansen, all of Gladwin. She is also survived by her very special aunt, Elsie Reuter of West Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 10 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor Bryan Johnson officiating.
