Mary McCray
Mary E. McCray, 88, of Gladwin, died January 5, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland following a long illness. She was born Sept. 28, 1916 to Leo and Hazel (Heath) Cameron in Gladwin. She was a lifelong resident of Gladwin County and she worked in home healthcare.
She married Roger McCray on Dec. 19, 1936 in Paw Paw. He preceded her in death in 1970.
She is survived by three sons, Roger (Norma) Cameron, Leonard McCray, and Walter McCray, all of Gladwin; three daughters, Ida Willford, Ramona (Glen) Foster, and Ella (Ron) Nettleton, all of Gladwin; 20 grandchildren; 37 Great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Cameron of Mercer Island, Washington; and two sisters, Shirley Wilsea and Mae Goodenough of Paw Paw. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services were held Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor Dan Adamczyk officiating. Burial was a Highland Cemetery in Gladwin. Visitation was held Jan. 9 from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
