Nellie Stallard-Mays
Nellie M. Stallard-Mays, 73, of Gladwin passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin.
Nellie was born March 23, 1934 in Wise County, Virginia to Charlie and Oma (Hamilton) Booher.
She married James R. Stallard in 1934; he passed away in 1977. On Aug 4, 1984 Nellie married Charlie Mays and he survives her.
She moved to Gladwin in 1997 from Berkley, Michigan. Nellie retired from General Motors. She loved her grandchildren, traveling and dancing. Surviving are her husband, Charlie; three daughters, Lisa Postinger and Debbie and Sherry Stallard; three stepchildren, Judy (Bill) Hubbard, Randy Mays and Jackie Mays; five grandchildren, Michael, Jeffery, Brian, Matthew and Judyann.
Services were held Sunday, Dec. 16 at Michigan Memorial Park Funeral Home in Flat Rock. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
