Virginia Maxwell
Virginia R. Maxwell, 88, of Beaverton passed away Dec. 21, 2006 at home after a long illness.
She was born Nov. 16, 1918 to Erwin and Adda (Benn) Nash in Howell.
Virginia was a veteran of the United State Army; she served during World War II.
She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of Gladwin County.
She married Robert on Dec. 10, 1949 in Gladwin.
Surviving are two sons, Clayton Maxwell of Beaverton and Dana Maxwell of Beaverton; one daughter, Tonya Maxwell of Clinton Township; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert, in 1994; two granddaughters, Melissa and Linda; one daughter, Nancy; one daughter-in-law, Linda; and two brothers, Donald Nash and Russell Fruchey.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton. Rev. Mark. H. Moore officiated. Burial was in Beaverton Cemetery.
