William Martin
William B. Martin, 62, of Gladwin, died Friday, Feb. 15, at his home. He has
been in failing health since 1955. Born in Battle Creek on March 30, 1911, he was an electrician
for Pontiac Motors. Mr. Martin moved to Gladwin County in 1968, and was a member of the Hay
Township Senior Citizens Club. He was married to the former Louise Domann in June 1934, in Pontiac.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, William Martin of Gladwin and Richard Henry of
Pontiac; three granddaughters, Dawn, Della and Zina Martin, who live with them; one brother, Raymond
of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and a half-brother, Clarence Robinson of Pontiac.
Rites were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Jerry Locher officiated
and burial was in the Highland Cemetery.
