Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Walter Marsh

   Walter J. Marsh, 68, of 2024 Howard Rd., Beaverton, died Saturday, May 16, in the Midland Hospital Center.

   Born in Sygnet, Ohio, on July 17, 1912, he moved to Flint in 1938, to Saginaw in 1940 and to Gladwin County in 1973. Mr. Marsh worked at International Harvester in Flint and then at Draper Chevrolet in Saginaw for 23 years until retiring in 1973. He was a Buckeye Township trustee and a member of United Commercial Travelers.

   Mr. Marsh and the former Isabel Adams were married August 30, 1930, in Fort Wayne, Ind.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Robert of Traverse City; one brother, Norman of Bloomdale, Ohio; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mildred Teeple of Bowling Green, Ohio and Mrs. Mavis Bronson, of Findlay, Ohio; and 3 grandchildren.

   Services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Fred Wilson officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
