Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Clarence Marrison

   Clarence R. Marrison, 74, of Beaverton, died Nov. 11, 2005 at home following a short illness.

   He was born March 29, 1931 in Lansing to Clarence A. and Mildred (Fischell) Marrison. He married the former Barbara Cordes in Lansing on July 21, 1951. He was a foreman for 30 years at General Motors, retiring in October 1979. He lived in Gladwin County since 1979, having previously resided in Perry. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA).

   Surviving him are his wife, Barbara Marrison of Beaverton; three daughters, Bonnie (Doug) Miller of Midland, Linda (Scott) Neros of Perry, and Brenda (Brian) VanOstran of Leslie; three grandchildren, Nicole (Joe) Maag of Grand Rapids, Sara Miller of Okemus and Jessica VanOstran of Mason; one Great grandchild, Asia VanOstran of Mason; two sisters, Clare Klusack of Haslett and Wanda (Robert) Lyons of Perry; and one brother, Gerald (Beverly) Marrison of Perry. He is predeceased by his parents and one son, Richard Marrison (1976).

   Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 14 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Edenville with Father Joseph A. Schabel officiating. Burial was at Oak Plain Cemetery in Shaftsburg.
