Linda Maday
Linda Frances Maday, loving mother, wife, and grandmother passed away in her home in Littleton, Colorado on April 14, 2006. Linda was born September 1, 1936 in Racine, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Tom and Frances (Dickert) McDonald.
She married Don Maday on April 1, 1969 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a teacher, and kitchen designer with her husband’s home remodeling company in Gladwin, and more recently San Diego, California. Linda and her family were Gladwin residents from 1981 to 1994, and her three sons attended Gladwin county schools. She moved to Littleton, Colorado in 2003 after Don’s passing, to be closer to her family. Linda had an insatiable zest for life. She was passionate about her family and friends. She loved cooking, music, theatre, reading, travel, and exercise.
Linda is survived by her three sons Neil (Wendy) Maday, Tony (Sandra) Maday, Lee Maday, and grandson Nicholas Maday, all of Colorado; sisters Mary McDonald of Wisconsin, Jane Dalrymple of Minnesota, Ellen (Tony) Groh of Arizona; her brothers John (Liz) McDonald and Danny (Ellen) McDonald of Wisconsin. A private ceremony will be held.
