Theresa Mackenzie

   Theresa Ann Mackenzie, 49, of Pinconning passed away after a long illness at Saginaw Covenant- Harrison Campus in Saginaw on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008.

   Formerly known as Theresa A. Evans, she was born on Aug. 20, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Toni (Richards) Kosinski. She married Jim Mackenzie on April 13, 1998 in Midland, Michigan.

   She was employed as a certified nurses assistant at Brittany Manor in Midland, Michigan. She had spent the last year in Bay County, previously residing in Beaverton and Midland. She very much enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

   She is survived by her husband, Jim of Pinconning; five sons, Robert Ptasznik of Midland, Raymond Ptasznik of Midland, James Mackenzie of Pinconning, Shawn Mackenzie of Clarkston and Bradley Mackenzie of Pinconning; two daughters, Rebecca (Mike) Gohm of Midland and Mandy (Joel) Earnesburger of Pinconning; eight grandchildren, Johnathon, Michael, Briana, Krista, Brandon, Lucas, Erica and Alyssa; and three sisters, Michelle White, Toni Puczkowski and Kelly Turner. She is predeceased by her parents.

   Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton, Michigan. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m. at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton with Daren Burns officiating.
