Ean MacIntyre
Ean Donald MacIntyre, 82, of Beaverton passed away Saturday, May 14 at the Tendercare Nursing Home in Clare. He was born Oct. 9, 1922 in Highland Park to John and Sarah (Peel) MacIntyre. Ean married the former Madge Smith in January 1952 in Toledo, Ohio. Madge passed away Dec. 14, 1983.
Ean was working for Dura Automotive in Gladwin as a tool and die maker. He owned and operated several tool and die shops in his lifetime. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of V.F.W. 7303. He was also a member of the Warren Lodge #427 F & AM and the Sanford Moose Lodge #2519.
Surviving are two sons, Ean Glenn MacIntyre of Beaverton, and Bruce (Angela) MacIntyre of Sugar Hill, Georgia; one daughter, Peggi (Mike) Stahr of LaFollette, Tennessee; eight grand-children and one Great-grandchild; two brothers, Archie MacIntyre of Beaverton, and Charles McIntyre of Livonia; and one sister, Jessie Springer of Westland. One brother precedeases Ean.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17 at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin. Rev. Tony Reynolds officiate. Burial took place in Dale Cemetery. Graveside services were under the auspices of V.F.W. Post 7303 and Post 11256.
