Robert Lytle
Robert A. Lytle, 87, of Detroit, died Friday, April 2, in Detroit Memorial
Hospital after an illness of one week. Born in Grout Township on February 17, 1899, he was a
retired foreman for Wickes Boiler in Saginaw. Mr. Lytle was a veteran of World War I and had
moved to Detroit 20 years ago from Saginaw.
Surviving are two brothers, Howard of Jackson and Floyd of Cincinnati; four sisters, Mrs.
Marian Batchelor of Greenville, N.C., Mrs. Olive Manzinger and Mrs. Irene Erskine of Clearwater,
Fla. and Mrs. Hazel Stimpson of Saline; a nephew, William Lytle of Chicago. One brother William
preceded him in death.
Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin. The Rev.
Byron Hatch officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemtery.
