Earl Lutzke
EARLE LUTZKE
Earle Lutzke Sr., 66, of 4599 Estey Rd., Rhodes, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, in St. Luke's Hospital, Saginaw, after an illness of 2 years. Born in Bay City April 21, 1919, he had spent most of his life in Gladwin County. Mr. Lutzke retired in February 1978 after 30 years at Grey Iron Foundry, Saginaw. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Allbright Shores Assembly of God Church and UAW Local 668. Mr. Lutzke and the former Della Whitney were married Nov. 18, 1950, in Billings Township.
Surviving besides his wife are 2 sons, David of Bay City and Earle of Bay City; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Poquette of Saginaw; a half-brother, Fred Wickline of Saginaw; and a half-sister, Mrs. Agnes Zusiak of Saginaw.
Services were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Allbright Shores Assembly of God. The Rev. Roy Glasgow officiated and burial was in the Billings Township Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
