Henry Long
HENRY LONG
Henry Francis Long, 58, of Beaverton, died Saturday, Feb. 12, in the Gladwin Area Hospital after an illness of one week. Born in Tobacco Township on July 6, 1913, he had spent his lifetime in Gladwin County. Mr. Long was a veteran of World War II and was a custodian in the Midland schools for 20 years. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. June B. Long, of Beaverton; and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Smith of Owosso and Mrs. Jennie Cascaddan of Midland.
Rites were held Monday at 2 p.m. from Daniels Band Church. The Rev. Arthur Munger Jr. and the Rev. Wesley Huggard officiated and burial was in the Beaverton cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home..
