Thomas Lennon
Thomas N. Lennon, 76, of 1300 W. Cedar Ave., Gladwin, died Sunday, May 26,
1991, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Midland, after a long illness with cancer.
Born in Gladwin, Nov. 26, 1914, he had spent his lifetime here. Mr. Lennon owned Lennon Insurance
Agency. He was a member of the Gladwin First United Methodist Church and was a veteran of World
War II. Mr. Lennon and the former Viola Paxton were married in 1946, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Patrick of Gladwin; one daughter, Kathryn Behnke
of Midland; 6 brothers, Dr. A.M. of Dearborn Heights, Francis of Midland, Leo of Muskegon, Jack,
Lester and Clarence of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Dorothy Wager of Gladwin and Roselee Wagar of Midland;
4 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.
Services were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev.
Joel Hurley officiated and burial was in the McClure Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church
or to Hospice of Gladwin Area.
