John Lennon

DIES SUDDENLY AT SISTER'S HOME

   Funeral services for John N. Lennon, 60, Grout township farmer, were held Monday morning at the Sacred Heart Church in Gladwin with the Rev. Fr. George Artman officiating. Mr. Lennon passed away suddenly Friday at the home of his sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank McNamara. He was born in Gladwin township January 16, 1895, and was a veteran of World War I, serving overseas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

   He is survived by one brother, Edward, of Gladwin; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret McNamara and Mrs. Anna Wood of Gladwin, Mrs. Mary Smith of Ionia and Sister Mary Wendall of Grand Rapids. Interment was made in McClure cemetery.
