Donald Leinenger
DONALD LEINENGER
Donald S. Leinenger, 47, of 1431 Estey Rd., Beaverton, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, in the Midland Hospital Center following a short illness. Born in Pontiac on April 19, 1935, he retired June 2, 1978, after 25 years in the Marine Corps. He moved to Gladwin following retirement and was a member of the All-Bright Shores Eagles Club 3655 and the Gladwin County VFW 7303.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Vicki Wilton in the Navy, Deborah and Deana of Arizona and Donnell Bellman of Colorado; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Leinenger of All-Bright Shores; one brother, Frederick of Pontiac; one sister, Mrs. Donna Williamson of Pontiac; and 2 grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Bates officiated and burial was in the Billings Township Cemetery. An Eagles Memorial Service was held Friday at 7 p.m.
