Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Catherine LeBlanc

   Catherine M. LeBlanc, 74, of Gladwin, died early Saturday morning, April 15, 2006 at Tendercare of Midland.

   She was born November 21, 1931 in Detroit, daughter of the late William and Helen (Davis) Gregor. Catherine was a graduate of Schoolcraft Community College where she received an Associate Degree in office management.

   She was married to Alphonse LeBlanc. He predeceased her in December of 1993. Together they owned and operated the AK&K Market in Gladwin for many years and also several area Gladwin physicians employed her as an office manager. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin.

   Surviving are her children and their spouses: Stephen M. LeBlanc of Gladwin, Bruce E. LeBlanc of Brimley, Christopher J. LeBlanc of Seattle, Washington, Darlene and Lawrence Chubb of Saginaw, Lisa and Scott Eurick of Saginaw, Armella and Robert Berry of Gladwin, Diane LeGros of Crestview, Florida, Kristine Fischer of Brimley, Victoria and Ernest Bowker of Holland, and Marsha LeBlanc of Brimley; 20 grandchildren; 28 Great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Gregeor of National City; and one sister, Marilyn Cross and her husband Harry of Melville, Florida.

   In keeping with Catherine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service celebrating her life will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Sisson Funeral Home, 135 N. Silverleaf St., Gladwin. Rev. Fr. Steven Killey will officiate with burial of her remains to take place next to her husband at a later date.

   Mrs. LeBlanc’s family will receive friends at the Sisson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider MidMichigan Hospice, 3007 N. Saginaw Road Midland, Michigan 48640.
