Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Owen J. Lambert
Owen J. Lambert, 65, died Sunday, April 25, at his home at 2355 Grout Road,
in Grout Township, following an illness of one and one-half years. Born in McLeansboro, Ill.,
Oct. 1, 1905, Mr. Lambert had been a resident of Gladwin County since 1947. His occupation was
farming. He and the former Leona Crowder were married March 13, 1929, in Van Dyke, Mich.
Surviving are his wife, Leona; four sons, Delbert A. of Gladwin, Claude W. of West Branch,
Albert A. in the airforce at Alamogordo, N. M., and Dean O. in the marines at Palms, Calif.;
one brother and two sisters; and 13 grandchildren. One son, Donald, preceded him in death.
Services are being held today (Wedneday) at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with Henry Eicher
officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemete.
