Claude Lambert
Claude W. Lambert, 75, of Gladwin passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2007 at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.
Claude was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Knight Prairie, Illinois to Owen and Leona (Crowder) Lambert He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S Marines.
Claude married Elvina J. Myers on Nov. 27, 1951 in Gladwin Elvina passed in April 2003 Claude retired from truck driving and was a member of the Gladwin Eagles.
Surviving are four sons, Daniel (Vicki) Lambert of West Branch, Dennis (Michelle) Lambert of Maryland, Dale Lambert of Alpena and Tim (Lisa) Lambert of West Branch; two daughters, Debbie Dishaw of Chesterfield and Lauri (Rob) Nelson of Harrison Township; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dean and Albert Lambert both of Texas. One grandson, Warren Lambert, and two brothers predecease Claude.
Services were held at 7 p.m Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Sisson Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Reynolds officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. Committal services were conducted under the auspices of VFW Post 11256.
