Paul Lambdin
LOSES LIFE IN TRACTOR UPSET
A 25-year-old Buckeye Township man lost his life in a tractor accident on his farm on
Hockaday Road Friday night about 7:30 p.m. Paul E. Lambdin, a draftsman for Bronw Machine
Co., Beaverton, reportedly was attempting to pull a cable out of the ground with the tractor
when it reared up and tipped over on him. Mr. Lambdin was born in DeQuoin, Ill., on May 20,
9142. He came to Gladwin County six months ago from Northville. He served in the U.S. Army
form 1962 t 1965 and was a member of the Beaverton F. & A.M. Mr. Lambdin was married to Rose
Marie Carico on June 1, 1963, in Georgia.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Lisa Marie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Lambdin, of Brighton; two brothers, Harold, U.S. Army in Germany, and Robert of Brighton;
one sister, Mrs. Betty Wright, Harrison; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stamm, DeSoto, Ill., and
Willie Lambdin, Gladwin; adn a great grandparent, Elmer Batteau, of Illinois.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. S. H. Boubolt of
Harrison officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery.
