Basil Ladner

Services Saturday for Basil Ladner

   Basil L. Ladner a Beaverton resident, died Monday in Newport Richey, Florida after an illness of one month. He was born on December 21, 1906 in Bangor, Maine the son of Mary Ann and James Ladner. Mr. Ladner had been a resident of Beaverton since June, 1945 coming there from Mt. Clemens. On November 26, 1926, he was married to the former Miss Georgina Gould who survives him. Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ann Frey of Detroit; two sons John of Beaverton and Carl of Midland; five grandchildren; his father, James, and a brother , Fay of Presque Isle, Maine. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. fr. George Artman as the officiating clergyman. Burial will be in Beaverton Cemetery with Charles Stenger, William Stenger, Andy Eaton, Lloyd Broka, Lloyd Hagenbaugh and Ralph Hutson as pallbears.
