John Kyros
JOHN KYROS
John Kyros, 70, of 3408 Clendening Rd., Gladwin, died Monday, Jan. 7, in the Gladwin Area Hospital. Born in Racine, Wisc., Feb. 5, 1914, he grew up in Detroit and came to Gladwin County in 1946. He was employed at Gladwin Manufacturing. He was a veteran of World War II and the Gladwin Baptist Church. He and his wife, Ruby, were married March 28, 1942, in Detroit.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Arden Seipke of Gladwin; one brother, George of North Branch; 4 sisters, Katherine Toyeas of Detroit, Mary Pope, Jennie Gartley and Violet Nazarian of Seattle, Wash.; 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Gladwin Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry Locher will officiate and burial will be in the Butman Township Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. .
