Max E. Kuehn
Max E. Kuehn, 80, of Gladwin, died Thursday, August 2, at the Saginaw Veterans
Hospital, following a long illness. Born in Saginaw, August 21, 1892, he came to Gladwin County
in 1944 from Adrian. A veteran of World War I, he was employed at the Gladwin Area Hospital as
maintenance engineer until his retirement. Mr. Kuehn and the former Myrtle Kunkel were married in
Bay City April 17, 1937, and she preceded him in death August 28, 1967. He was a member of the
Gladwin F. & A.M. and master in 1960.
Surviving are two brothers, Carl of Saginaw and Clarence of N. Augusta, S. C., and a sister,
Mrs. Michale (Clara) Romach of Saginaw. Masonic memorial services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
at the Hall Funeral Home and burial was in Highland Cemete.
