Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Jean C. Kudella

   Jean C. Kudella, 87, of Hope, died Feb. 20, 2005 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin.
She was born Jan. 1, 1918 in Boyne Falls to Marco and Paraska (Romancki) Skop. She married Elmer Kudella on Feb. 16, 1946 in Detroit; he died in 1992. Kudella worked as a floor inspector at Champion Spark Plug in Detroit. She retired in 1975 after 33 years. She lived in Gladwin County since 1992, having previously resided in Warren. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Edenville.
Surviving her are her son, Joe (Leona) Kudella of Hope; her grandson, Andy (Debbie) Kudella of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her Great grandchildren, Julie, Stephanie and Anthony Kudella; two sisters, Ann Nicholas of New Jersey and Sadie Kolodziej of Utica; and one brother, Pete Skop of Boyne Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Dennis and Ron; sisters Kay Bilovus and Mary Skop; and brothers Mike, John, Andy and Louis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Edenville. Father Raymond Moeggenberg and Sister Mary Ellen McDonald will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, Feb. 24 from noon until 9 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, 440 E. Cedar Ave. in Gladwin. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
