Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Stella Krigner

   Stella J. Krigner, 95, of Gladwin passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Gladwin.

   She was born Jan. 7, 1913 the daughter of Andrew and Laurdr Loyash in Alequipa, Pennsylvania.

   Stella moved to Gladwin in 1977 from Redford, Michigan. She was married to Leonard Krigner until his passing in 1988. She was a very caring person and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. She loved cooking, gardening, traveling and painting.

   She was an active member at the Hockaday Community Church where she taught Sunday school for 11 years. She retired as the chief financial officer for Bohn Aluminum in Southfield.

   She is survived by her stepchildren, Rheinhard (Vicki) Krigner of Wixom, Terry Krigner of Brighton, Gerald (Karen) Krigner of Union City, Marlene (Mickey) Dzieglewicz of Walled Lake and Darlene Cox of Dearborn; 12 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, John and Charles Loyash.

   Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor Tony Reynolds officiating.

   Visitation will be held Friday, March 7 from 5-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will be at McClure Cemetery.

   Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Stella to the Hockaday Community Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
