Theodore Kraska Jr.
Theodore F. Kraska, Jr., 52, passed away Monday April 17, 2006 at his residence following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born in Bay City on Sept. 6, 1953 to the late Theodore Sr. and Rita (Fick) Kraska. Ted was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and served on Pinconning DDA. He was the former owner of the Gladwin Farmers Exchange and Pinconning Grain Elevator. He took great pride in mentoring young people in their life and business goals.
He is survived by his wife Tamara (Eckstein) Kraska, whom he married Nov. 15, 2005 in the Bahamas; two brothers Thomas Kraska and Timothy and Connie Kraska; a sister Roseann and Kenneth Gutchak; mother and father-in-law Ruth and Jack Eckstein; two sisters-in-law Barb and Chuck Stube and Debbie and Ron Libbrecht; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday April 21, 2006 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Nine Mile with Rev Fr. Joseph Miller presiding with burial in St. Mary’s Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
