Ralph Klein
Ralph B. Klein, 85, of 1007 N. Spring St., Gladwin, died Monday, March 29,
in the Gladwin Area Hospital following a long illness. Born in Henry County, Ohio, on May 30,
1896, he came to Gladwin County in 1906. Mr. Klein was a carpenter. He served in World War I
and was a member of the Gladwin United Methodist Church. He was married to the former Cora Looker
on December 24, 1919, in Wagarville. She preceded him in death on August 31, 1973.
Surviving are one son, Charles of Gladwin; 3 daughters, Mrs. Ida Mary McGregor of California,
Mrs. Ella Winkler of Gladwin and Mrs. Berneice Tucker, of Midland; one brother, Harry of Gladwin;
15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Services will be held
Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Gladwin United Methodist Church. The Rev. Donald Bates will officiate
and burial will be in the McClure Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
