Charles Omer Kintner
OMER KINTNER DIES DECEMBER 19TH
Charles Omer Kintner, son of Jerome and Lucetta Kintner was born Nov. 22, 1897 in Paulding, County, Ohio, and departed this life Dec. 19, 1941 at the age of 44. At the age of 15 he came with his parentss to Gladwin county and spent the rest of his life here with the exception of six years he resided in Flint. He has resided on his farm west of Beaverton for the past 11 years. He was united in marriage to Mary Foster on Sept. 29, 1917 and to this union were born three children one girl, Laverna Lou preceded him in death 12 years ago. He was united with the Baptist church in 1930 and has been an ardent and faithful follower of the Christian faith since his conversion. He leaves to mourn his loss his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Earl Burr and one son, Galen Lee at home; also his father and mother, a brother Elmer Kintner of Flint, five sisters, Mrs. Josie Mercer of Beaverton, Mrs. Nellie Paxton of Flint, Mrs. Edna Benmark of Butman, Mrs. Fern Hatch of Flint and Mrs. Bertha Miller of Beaverton; also one grandson, Tommy Dee Burr, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 21 at Beavertn Methodist Church, Rev. Howard McDonald and Rev. Lawrence Shaw officiating. Interment was in the Beaverton cemetery.
