Dennis H. Kile
Dennis Harold Kile, 21, of Sherman Township, died Sunday, Feb. 13, of injuries
after being struck by an automobile on East M-61. Mr. Kile moved to Gladwin County with his family
six years ago. He was born in Flint on December 21, 1950. He attended Flint Schools and graduated
from Gladwin High School in 1969. He was employed at the Flint Chevrolet plant before entering the
Marine Corps in January 1970. After serving aboard a Navy Missile ship he was discharged in October
1971.
Mr. Kile was employed as a plumber apprentice by his father, Harold Kile Jr., in his plumbing and
heating business in Beaverton. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Surviving are his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kile Jr.; two sisters, Barbara and Lisa; one brother, Paul, all at home; his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kile Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wright, all of Flint.
Funeral services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Ernst
Mueller officiated and Burial was in the Ridge Cemetery.
