Robert Kennedy
Robert E. Kennedy, 67, of Gladwin, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 at the Mid Michigan Medical Center of Gladwin.
Kennedy was born on Jan. 10, 1938 in Roscommon County to the late Samuel and Ethel (Stickney) Kennedy. Robert married the former Mary Inman on July 27, 1957 in Flint. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1991. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing. He also loved wood carving and tractors.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kennedy of Gladwin; two sons, Mark Kennedy of Gladwin and Rick (Suzann) Kennedy of Ridgeville, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Jamie (Matt) Phillips, Jessica (Randy) Traxler of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Victoria Lee of South Carolina; one Great grandchild, Jasmine of Oklahoma; one brother, Charles (Dorothy) Kennedy of Flint; one sister, and Ruth Bartlett of Redgranite, Wisconsin. Robert was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Ellen Butler.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Sisson Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Withrow will officiate. Burial will take place in the Butman Township cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, Feb. 17 from 2 to 6 p.m. The Sisson Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
