Howard Kelch
Howard Kelch, 83, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007 at his residence following a lingering illness.
He was born in Mayville on April 17, 1924 to the late Cleveland and Isel Mae (Smith) Kelch.
He married the former Betty Poole in October 1954; she preceded him in death May 6, 1999.
Howard was retired from General Motors Pontiac Plant #4. He had lived in Gladwin since 1979. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW Post 11256 and the American Legion Post 171.
He is survived by his son, James Kelch of Florida; a daughter, Lynn Gardner of Gladwin; seven grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; one brother, Cleveland Kelch of Mayville; two sisters, Madge Stratton of Caro and Cleo McLane of Florida. He was preceded in death by one son, Harold Kelch; and a brother, Snyde Kelch.
At Mr. Kelch’s request cremation has taken place and no services are planned. The Sisson Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
