Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Arthur Keeley

   Arthur E. Keeley, 60 of 3931 S. M-18, Beaverton, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1993, in the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center, Midland, after an illness of 2 years. He was born in Midland on Jan. 4, 1933, and moved to Gladwin County in 1948. Mr. Keeley was a master plumber in the pipe shop at Dow Chemical Co. He retired in 1986 after 35 years at Dow and worked for Three Rivers Construction until 1992. He served in the Army during the Korean War and attended the R.L.D.S. Church in Beaverton. Mr. Keeley worked on the chain gang at varisty football games and was scorekeeper at the varisty basketball games. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Mr. Keeley and the former Jessie Wesley were married Oct. 1,1955, in Beaverton.

  Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Dennis and Douglas of Beaverton and David of Toledo, Ohio; his parents, Harold and Glenadean Keeley of Beaverton; one brother, Gary of Beaverton; 2 sisters, Esther Rodabaugh of Beaverton and Chloie Ostrander of Millington; and 9 grandchildren.

  Services were held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Elder Donn Pendleton officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Athletic Department of the Beaverton schools.
