Joan E. Kakoska
Joan E. Kakoska, 66, of Beaverton, died April 11, 2006 at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland.
She was born May 7, 1939 in Flint to Joseph and Maxine (Damouth) Slackta. She married Jewell Kakoska on June 9, 1956 in Flint. She was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County since 1974, having previously resided in Flint. She was a member of the Albright Shores Eagles Club #3655.
Surviving are her husband, Jewell Kakoska of Beaverton; her son, James Kakoska of Beaverton; her grandsons, Jeremy, Jim and Jason; her Greatgrandchildren, Kaleb Horton and Dylan Kasper; her sisters, Beverly and Leslie; and her aunt, Kathleen Herrington. She was predeceased by her parents.
A funeral service was held Friday, April 14 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with pastor Brad Withrow officiating.
