Betty Kaiser
Betty Joanne Kaiser, 73, of Beaverton passed away April 19, 2007 at MidMichigan Gladwin Pines Nursing Home She was born Nov. 14, 1933 Betty was a resident of Beaverton since 1986 and a former resident of Mt. Morris.
She was a graduate of Northern High School in Flint, and was formerly employed by Meridian School District in Midland and Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth.
Betty was an active member of St. Anne’s Parish in Edenville She enjoyed gardening, sewing for her family and spending time with her grandchildren during their summer vacations.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Larry Victor Kaiser; four children, Gary (Beth) Kotlark of Flushing, Tracie (Scott) Smith of Kentucky, Wendy (Steve) Bernard of Lupton and Shelley (Todd) Buresh of Harrisville; parents-in-law, Victor and Kathleen Kaiser of Beaverton; one sister, Welma Jones of Davison; one brother Larry (Bev) Sargent of Flushing; eight grandchildren, Andy, Erin, Kassie, Ian, Kayla, Evan, Kaitlynn and Tressa; several nieces and nephews; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Patricia and Rodolfo Gonzales of Texas, Diane and Wayne Graham of Bridgeport, Kelly and Judy Kaiser of Farwell, Tammy and Roger Mohr of Sumner, and Lanny and Debbie Kaiser of Virginia. Betty was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Marie and Bob Weatherspoon of Flint; and brother-in-law, Edwin “Bud” Jones of Davison.
Visitation services were held on Sunday, April 22, 2007 with vigil at 7 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
In lieu of flowers, the family is respectfully asking that memorial contributions be made to the St. Anne’s Parish General Fund in Edenville.
